Brene Brown is wonderful. A good friend gave me this book at Christmas several years ago, and I just shelved it and forgot about it. I’m so glad I picked it up again because she addresses issues of fear, vulnerability, shame, and guilt in ways that I’ve never thought about them. I love when an author can put words to concepts that you haven’t clearly defined for yourself, make sense of them, and then breakdown all of the preconceived notions you didn’t even realize you had. When words create paradigm shifts like that, it’s something like magic. I definitely recommend this book. 4.5/5.
